BC Wrestling Needs your Help - Volunteer Call Out!

Are you passionate about wrestling and looking for a way to get more involved? Join us! We are seeking volunteers to help support wrestling events throughout the year. Currently, we are seeking general volunteers and event specific volunteers to help with tasks both big and small at our upcoming events. We encourage athletes, parents, managers, chaperones - and anyone in the wrestling community to get involved. If interested, we would love to have you join our team!

If you are interested in volunteering, please read the information below and fill out our volunteer recruitment MS form (2-5 minute personal information form) linked at the bottom of this page.

What to Expect and How to Apply

General volunteers are not committed to any specific events. Rather, they are informed of upcoming events and encouraged to help out with various tasks such as:

  • Volunteer management (emailing volunteers to see who is available)

  • Mat Moving (transporting mats, towing trailers, mat set up)

  • Event set up (setting up tables, flyers/banners, chairs, etc.)

  • Event Tear down

  • Medical (athlete skin checks during weigh in, first aid, etc.)

  • Officiating (score keepers, bout runners, drawmasters assistance)

  • And many other tasks!

Why Should I Volunteer?

Wrestling is a sport that requires help both on and off the mats. Our volunteers play an integral part in ensuring our sport continues to expand, grow, and thrive.  We are very grateful for their time, talents, passion and commitment. In return, we provide our volunteers with opportunities to develop skills, expand networking connections and create experiences that will stay with them forever.
