Westsider Wrestling is a two year old club located on the west side of Vancouver. Currently it consist of approximately 70 elementary, 25 High School and 15 adult wrestlers. They offer regular season practice and competitive teams, recreational teams and summer camps. The main goal of the club is to get more people wrestling by creating a fun/safe environment to participate in the sport. 

Job Description 

This is a 10 week clinician contract that will consist of 7 weeks of elementary PE classes, followed by 3 weeks of summer camp. Clinicians will work in pairs and travel from school to school in Vancouver and run PE Classes to introduce more kids to the sport. The summer camp will be at Kitsilano Secondary and will be a few hours on the mat and a few hours outside. 

Requirements:

NCCP Certification - if you do not have this there is time to get it!

Criminal Records Check

Strong wrestling knowledge

Ability to work with elementary children

The clinicians are going to come into contact with several thousand kids and for many of them this will be their first wrestling experience. It is absolutely imperative that the clinicians are high energy and positive so they can help get kids excited about joining a wrestling program. 

Pay: $18/Hour
