Sept 1 - Reminder to Register for Club Sanctioning and BCWA Membership

IT’S SEPTEMBER 1 — A NEW BCWA MEMBERSHIP YEAR IS HERE!

The 2026/2027 membership season is officially underway, and with it comes a few changes to how clubs and members register. Swipe through the gallery below for more information!

One of the biggest changes this year is Club Sanctioning — our new annual process for clubs and teams to set up their organization in the BCWA membership system.


Clubs & Teams:

Start by completing a new Club Application, even if your club was registered with BCWA last season or in previous years.



 It only takes about 5–10 minutes, and you’ll choose the Uplifter setup that works best for your team. In future years, all you will need to do is click renew! If your club requires a certificate of insurance, please indicate that in the club sanctioning process and BCWA will follow up with you.



Members:

You can register yourself for a BCWA membership, or have a coach or parent/guardian register on your behalf. Don’t forget to complete your waivers! To register, please visit: https://2mev.com/#!/memberships/british-columbia-wrestling-association-2026-2027-membership


Wrestle for a school team? You can still register for BCWA membership and participate in BCWA events. If you don’t have a BCWA-sanctioned club to affiliate with, simply register as an Unaffiliated/Independent Member.


We’ve also updated our 2026/2027 membership fees. We know fee increases and a new registration process are a lot of change at once, and we appreciate your patience!
