Reminder to Register for Club Sanctioning and Membership

See the link below for a new handy way to double check is someone is registered and affiliated with your team!


Coaches, this is a friendly reminder to complete your club sanctioning and make sure your members are registered for BCWA membership!


1. Sanction your club

We’ve been chatting with coaches from across the province, and the average time to complete the club sanctioning application is just 5–10 minutes. The current record to beat is 2 minutes!


2. Register your members

Please remember to register your athletes, coaches, and other club members for their BCWA membership.

You can also view your registered members directly through your 2MEV team dashboard:

Clubs → Programs → Select your team → Affiliation/Club

A list of all registered affiliated members will appear there.

Step by Step - How to Sanction your Team


Here is a summary of how to register for club sanctioning:



2. When setting up your club for sanctioning, you will need to answer:

  • Head coach's name and NCCP number

  • Who you would like for your clubs voting designate (the person who can vote on behalf of the club at the BCWA annual general meeting)

  • Club Facility Name and address


 You will also be presented with three options on how you'd like to use the system (see the options here).

  • Option A: Automated Club Payments

    This option allows your team to collect club fees directly from members and automate recurring payments, such as weekly, monthly, or annual fees. This means less time spent tracking payments and following up with members. 2MEV does charge an administrative processing fee on each transaction, which slightly increases the cost for members. Your club can choose to absorb these fees or pass them on to members.


  • Option B: Standard Registration and Affiliation

    This option is most similar to our previous registration setup and is the simplest choice if you want your club's registration process to remain relatively unchanged. Folks can register and affiliate with your team, or you can register them on their behalf.


  • Option C: Bulk Member Upload

    If you have a large number of members to register, this option allows you to upload an Excel or CSV file to register members in bulk. 2MEV charges a $120 fee for this service. While there is an additional cost, it can save clubs a significant amount of time when registering many members at once.


 3. Once your team is set up for sanctioning, members can start to affiliate with your team. As a coach, you can also see on the backend of the system who is registered/affiliated so you can be sure your club is in good standing and protected.
