NCCP Community Coach Workshop
BCWA is delivering a NCCP Community Coach workshop available to all BCWA members and BC School District staffs on October 20, 2023. Register on the Locker to secure your spot. Registration deadline: October 12, 2022. Limited spots available. To register with BCWA as a coach, a minimum NCCP “in training” status is required. The NCCP Community Coach workshop provide coaches with NCCP “in training” status to register for BCWA membership and participate in BCWA sanctioned events. NCCP status will be verified for coach’s accreditation to access BCWA events. Completion of both The Locker registration and 2mev payment is required. NCCP Competition-Introduction Workshops
BCWA and WCL are partnering to deliver NCCP Competition-Introduction Part A and Part B workshops to BCWA members. Register to secure your spot. Limited spots available. Both online and in-person are required for Part A and Part B. With successful completion of NCCP Competition-Introduction Part A, NCCP Competition-Introduction Part B, and NCCP Competition-Introduction Evaluation a coach will receive NCCP Competition-Introduction Certified status. NCCP Competition-Introduction certification is required to coach at the U19-17-15 National Championships and BC Summer Games. Completion of both The Locker registration and 2mev payment is required. NCCP Competition-Introduction Part A: THE LOCKER REGISTRATION Payment: 2mev Payment Schedule: Online – Planning a Practice October 17 & 19, 2023 at 6:00pm-9:30pm (link will be provided to registered participants) In-person – Technical and Tactical A October 21, 2023 at 9:00am-3:00pm Location: SFU - Wrestling Room (8888 University Dr W Burnaby, BC, V5A 1S6 - see map at bottom of the page) Facilitators: Gord Sturrock (in-person) and WCL (online) Fees: Up to September 30, 2023 - $175 + processing fees After September 30, 2023 - $200 + processing fees NCCP Competition-Introduction Part B: THE LOCKER REGISTRATION Payment: 2mev Payment Schedule: Online – Designing a Basic Sport Program November 14 & 16, 2023 at 6:00pm-9:20pm (link will be provided to registered participants) In-person – Technical and Tactical B November 18, 2023 at 9:00am-3:00pm PST Location: SFU - Wrestling Room (8888 University Dr W Burnaby, BC, V5A 1S6 - see map at bottom of the page) Facilitators: Gord Sturrock (in-person) and WCL (online) Fees: Up to October 31, 2023 - $175 + processing fees After October 31, 2023 - $200 + processing fees NCCP Competition- Introduction workshops are eligible for the BCWA Coach Education Program to provide financial support to qualified coaches.
