Register Now for the SFU x BCWA Future Champ Development Camp

Have fun, compete, and prepare for the BC Summer Games and the upcoming season at our High Performance Development Camp. Join us this summer to train and learn from some of Canada’s top wrestlers, including Pan American medalists, National Team coaches, and elite athletes. 

Over three days and nine sessions, participants will gain valuable skills both on and off the mat. The camp also includes High Performance Integrated Support Team (IST) sessions led by SFU Strength & Conditioning coaches and a Sport Psychologist, giving athletes a well-rounded development experience. Walk away stronger, more confident, and better equipped for the future.

📍 SFU Wrestling (Combatives Room)

Important Location Details! The SFU Wrestling room/SFU Combatives room is located underneath the SFU Central Gym. Access the area via the elevator or stairs in front of the West Gym entrance. Follow the hallway past the SFU Athletics Centre, turn left at the end of the hallway, and the wrestling (multipurpose combatives) room will be through the door on your left (maps attached below). Camp Waivers

All campers must also fill out a waiver in order to attend the camp. Printed waivers will be available on-site during camp check-in, or parents can fill out waivers prior to attending the event for a faster check-in:

Housing cost (1): $76/night SFU private residence room

Housing cost (2): $168 - $389/night: SFU Simon hotel - 2x queen (need at least one 19+ adult in room); summer rates include breakfast for 2x people

Campers are welcome to purchase passes for food from the SFU Dining Hall: https://www.sfu.ca/food/dining-commons.html

The SFU Dining Hall is 'all you care to eat', so purchasing entry will provide an unlimited access to food. Located next to SFU's residence community, Dining Commons features dining options from 10+ culinary stations.
