CALLING ALL GIRLS & WOMEN IN WRESTLING!
We are so excited to officially announce the first annual Herizon, a three-day girls and women’s wrestling leadership and development event happening October 16–18, 2026 in Burnaby, BC.

Herizon was created to bring girls and women from across the wrestling community together to learn, connect, build confidence, develop leadership skills, and explore the many ways they can belong in wrestling.
Because wrestling isn't just about what happens on the mat.
It's about the people in the corner supporting athletes, the officials making the matches happen, the coaches developing the next generation, and the leaders helping shape the future of our sport.
Herizon is about creating more women who see a place for themselves in wrestling.
Across three days, participants will have the opportunity to learn from incredible women in our wrestling community through:
Wrestling clinics focused on learning new techniques and sharpening existing skills
Leadership and development workshops
Coaching and recruitment discussions
An introduction to officiating and the officiating pathway
First aid and taping education
Nutrition education + a hands-on snack-making session
Wrestling games and activities
A women's wrestling roundtable/panel
Opportunities to connect with women from across the wrestling community And so much more!
