Nominations Open for ODC (Officials Development Committee

BC Wrestling Officials,

Nominations are now open for the 2026–27 BC Wrestling Officials Development Committee (ODC).

The ODC plays an important role in the continued development of officiating across British Columbia, including official training and development, event support, certification pathways, communication, and the continued implementation of BCWA’s officiating policies and programs.

BCWA officials and members interested in contributing to this work are encouraged to put their names forward through the ODC self-nomination process.

Following the nomination period, the ODC will review submissions and provide a shortlist of 8–10 candidates to the BCWA Board of Directors. The Board will select four committee members from that list and appoint an ODC Chair from the Board’s membership. The Chair will then assign portfolios and responsibilities based on the skills and experience of the selected committee members.

We encourage officials from across the province, including those with different levels of experience and backgrounds within wrestling, to consider putting their names forward.
