Member Spotlight - Bill Mitchell

This months feature spotlights Bill Mitchell! Bill loves to coach and we are incredibly lucky he chose to share that love with BC Wrestling. Coaching for over 25 years Bill Mitchell is credited for fostering the growth of many successful athletes in BC and Canada.

Bill founded the Centennial wrestling team and managed multiple Canadian Olympic and international tour teams. Bill also served as both the BC and Canada Amateur Wrestling Association’s President. Bill was also recently inducted into the BC Sports Hall of Fame for his dedication to sport.See Bill's induction here.

Bill Mitchell has made a profound impact on BC Wrestling and his contributions to the sport are seen in many ways today. Bill is a prime example of how important coaches are to athlete and sport development. We are proud to have such a kind, generous person represent BC Wrestling.
