IMPORTANT NOTICE - Intermediate Divisions for West Coast Open

This is an important notice to all West Coast Open Intermediate Registrants.

During the registration set-up process for the Intermediate divisions we accidentally listed weights that differed from the technical package. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. 

Please note, we will be using the self reported weights selected during registration process for this tournament.

No other steps are needed for those registered.

For reference, the weight classes are:

Intermediate grade 7-9 and 10-12 boys:

40-44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 65, 71, 77, 85, 92,100, 125 kg

Intermediate grade 7-9 and 10-12 girls:

39-43, 47, 50, 53, 56, 59, 62, 65, 69, 73, 80, 90 kg

The primary goal of this division is to have all competitors receive multiple matches against similar skilled wrestlers in a tournament setting. Wrestlers should not be focused on 'weight management' or cutting.

West Coast Open Registration Closes Tonight!

If interested in registering for the tournament - there is still time! The registration deadline for the 2025 SFU West Coast Open is tonight, December 11, 2025 by 11:59 pm.

All coaches must register at no cost to be accredited for the event, and must hold a valid 2025/2026 BCWA membership (see membership structure here). Wrestlers may register for both the Intermediate and the Elite tournament. Wrestlers placing in the top 4 of the Intermediate tournament may register for the Elite tournament after the Elite registration deadline, with late registration to be completed on 2MEV by December 13, 2025 by 7:30pm.
