FREE Indigenous Youth Wrestling Camp – Nanaimo

BC Wrestling is proud to partner with Tillicum Lelum Aboriginal Friendship Centre and ISPARC (Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council) to offer a FREE two-day wrestling camp in Nanaimo, BC!


Join experienced coaches Andy Capadouca and Jacob Alexander Torres for two days of wrestling instruction focused on technique, physical fitness, skill development, and fun. Whether you're brand new to wrestling or looking to build on your experience, this camp is designed for athletes of all skill levels.


The camp is open to self-identified Indigenous youth (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) ages 7–15, with accommodations available for other ages—please contact the facilitators for more information.


Dates: August 24–25 Ages 7–11: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Ages 12–15: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM


Location: Tillicum Lelum Aboriginal Friendship Centre 602 Haliburton Street, Nanaimo, BC


What to Bring:

Participants should bring athletic clothing, indoor athletic shoes, a water bottle, and plenty of energy. Parent/guardian drop-off and pick-up are required.
