NCCP Community Coach Workshop

BCWA is delivering a NCCP Community Coach workshop available to all BCWA members and BC School District staffs on October 25, 2024. Register on the Locker to secure your spot. Registration deadline: October 21, 2024.

Limited spots available. To register with BCWA as a coach, a minimum NCCP “in training” status is required. The NCCP Community Coach workshop provide coaches with NCCP “in training” status to register for BCWA membership and participate in BCWA sanctioned events. NCCP status will be verified for coach’s accreditation to access BCWA events.

Completion of both The Locker registration and payment is required.

NCCP Competition-Introduction Workshops

BCWA and WCL are partnering to deliver the new NCCP Competition-Introduction workshops to BCWA members. Register to secure your spot. Limited spots available. Participation in all sessions for each part is required. With successful completion of NCCP Competition-Introduction, online modules, and an evaluation, a coach will receive NCCP Competition-Introduction Certified status. NCCP Competition-Introduction certification is required to coach at the U19-17-15 National Championships and BC Summer Games.

Completion of both The Locker registration and payment is required for each group of training sessions. Part 1 include sessions 1, 2, and 3. Part 2 include sessions 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.

On-line:

1. Tuesday, October 8th at 6pm, Basic mental skills part #1, 2.5 hours online delivered by WCL

2. Thursday, October 10th at 6pm, Basic mental skills part #2, 2.5 hours online delivered by WCL

3. Sunday, October 13th at 6pm, Technical and tactical theory, 2.5 hours online delivered by Gord and April

Fees:    Up to September 20, 2024 - $150

After September 20, 2024 - $200

4. Thursday, October 17th at 6pm, Teaching and learning part #2, 2.5 hours online delivered by WCL

 In-person:

1. Saturday, October 19th at 10am, Technical and tactical applied, 6 hours IN-PERSON delivered by Gord and April
