Day 1 Recap - Cadet National Championships!

🔥 CADET STARS SHINE IN MONTREAL 🔥

The 2026 Canadian Wrestling Championships wrapped up an incredible U17 Cadet competition at Centre Pierre Charbonneau in Montreal, where British Columbia's next generation of wrestling stars put on a remarkable display.

The BC U17 Women's team tied Ontario for the most individual placers, while Coast RTC captured the Women's Team Championship. On the mat, Gurleen Dhillon (Canadian Mal) was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler after a dominant performance. On the U17 Men's side, British Columbia tied four other provinces for the most top-six finishes, showcasing the incredible talent in Canada from coast to coast.

The celebrations extended beyond the championship mats as the 2025 WCL Wrestler of the Year Award was presented to Kamryn Mason of Coast RTC. Congratulations on this outstanding recognition!
