Early this season, BC Wrestling Association proudly announced the Mike Jones Belt Series, a tribute to the legendary Mike Jones. A name synonymous with excellence, passion, and dedication in Canadian wrestling. This prestigious competition celebrates Mike Jones' enduring legacy while challenging and elevating the next generation of wrestling talent.
The Mike Jones Championship Belt Awards are an annual honor, recognizing the exceptional achievements of developing BC athletes who dominate the mat.
We are thrilled to announce that the official score sheet has been updated following the 2024 SFU War on the Floor, the first event of this series! 🥇
Eligibility Reminder: To secure this coveted award, in the same season an athlete must: 1️⃣ Be a registered member in good standing with BCWA. 2️⃣ Claim Gold at:
SFU War on the Floor Elite
Western Canada Age Class U19
BCWA Provincial Championships
**The athlete may place first in various weight classes and is not required to compete in the same weight class for all events.

We encourage you to monitor “The Scoresheet” as we highlight and track the results of the competitions in the Mike Jones Championship Belt Series. The Scoresheet will be updated following the completion of each event in the series to track belt-eligible athletes and serves as a notice of the current seeding for the new BCWA Club Provincial Championships, scheduled for March 15-16, 2024.
