BC Summer Games Updates!

The 2026 BC Summer Games are coming to Kelowna, BC, with wrestling taking place at Rutland Senior Secondary School from July 22–26, 2026.
The BC Summer Games are British Columbia’s premier multi-sport event for developing athletes, bringing together 3,000+ competitors, coaches, and officials from across the province every two years. Since the inaugural Games in 1978, more than 115,000 athletes and 160,000 volunteers have participated, making the Games a powerful celebration of sport and community!

Coaching Requirements (summary):
• Head Coaches: NCCP Competition Introduction Certified + Make Ethical Decisions (MED) evaluation
• Assistant Coaches: NCCP Competition Introduction Trained + MED evaluation
• All coaches and adult supervisors: Safe Sport Training required
Please note that coaches will travel with their zone team, stay in BC Games accommodation, and supervise athletes throughout the Games.
