It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Doug Corbett.

Doug was an incredible husband, father, teacher, coach, past President of BC Wrestling Association, mentor, leader, and friend. His impact reached far beyond the wrestling mat, touching the lives of countless athletes, coaches, students, and families throughout British Columbia.

Wrestling exists because of people like Doug—coaches who dedicate countless hours to investing in others, helping young people grow not only as athletes, but as confident, resilient, and compassionate individuals. Doug embodied everything that coaching should be. His leadership, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the wrestling community have left a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.

The Corbett family's connection to wrestling runs deep, and during this difficult time, they would greatly appreciate the support of the wrestling community as they come together to celebrate Doug's remarkable life.
