2026 U19-U17-U15 Canadian Wrestling Championships Sanctioning

The 2026 Canadian Wrestling Championships (U19, U17, U15) are scheduled for April 24-26th, 2026 in Grand Prairie, Alberta. Please review the 2026 Canadian Wrestling Championships (U19, U17, U15) BCWA Sanctioning Criteria and Procedure and the 2026 WCL Canadian Wrestling Championships (U19, U17, U15) Technical Package.

Please note that WCL event entry fees are in additional to the $90 BCWA athlete sanction fee. As a friendly reminder, the sanction fee for the Sr/Jr/Cadet Championships (May 28-30, 2026) are separate from the U19-17-15 Championship sanction fee. The BCWA sanction fee only applies to athletes and does not apply to coaches, officials, and support staff. Coaches – please ensure your NCCP certification status is up to date (refer to WCL technical package eligibility criteria) in the locker and not expired. What is the BCWA Sanctioning Fee for?

  1. This Payment is to cover the costs of sending the required amount of officials from B.C. to Nationals as required by WCL and CAWO (please refer to the CAWO Policy for further information: CAWO Policy)

  2. Each Provincial Sport Organization is required to send their quota of officials based on participant registrations and failing to do so results in a $1,500 fine by WCL and CAWO
