2025 Canada Summer Games Dual Recap

This past weekend, Team BC Wrestling travelled to St. John’s, Newfoundland, to compete at the 2025 Canada Summer Games. The dual-style tournament brought together athletes from across the country, with each province battling head-to-head in an exciting team format.
We are proud to share that Team BC delivered outstanding performances, capturing the Women’s Team Championship and the Men’s Team Silver Medal!
🔹 Women’s Team – Champions
Team BC went 5-0 in their pool, advancing to the finals where they faced Team Ontario. In a thrilling gold-medal dual, BC’s women rose to the occasion, defeating Ontario to claim the Women’s Team Championship, showcasing depth, determination, and talent across all weight classes.
🔹 Men’s Team – Silver Medal
On the men’s side, Team BC went a perfect 6-0 in their pool, dominating their matches to earn a spot in the finals. There, they met a strong Ontario squad and battled for gold, ultimately finishing with a hard-fought silver medal performance.
These results highlight the strength of our BC athletes, coaches, and support staff, and confirm BC’s place as a national wrestling powerhouse.
