Call for Regional Development Proposals

The diversity of BC is the strength of the province and BCWA would like to highlight and support the development of regional wrestling. Through the BCWA Regional Development Program, members are called to provide proposals that support the development of wrestling in the four identified regions. This is an opportunity for regional members to inform BCWA how regions can support the development of athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers.

A strong proposal will include:

1. A comprehensive sustainable plan;

2. Development of the collective region or regions, not an individual club/team;

3. Alignment with BCWA’s strategic plan;

4. Supportive documents and/or data; and

5. An experienced leader to oversee the plan.

Each region is allocated up to $5,000.00. Regions – Northern BC, Thompson-Okanagan, Lower mainland, Vancouver Island Submit proposals and supportive documents by December 15, 2022 to execdirector@bcwrestling.com
