The Duke's Cup took place on January 12th at the historic Beatty Street Drill Hall the home of the B.C. Regiment (Duke of Connaught's Own), a branch of the Canadian Armed Forces. Here's a look at the event.

The Inaugural Duke's Cup is an invitational zone dual meet. Coaches from Vancouver, North Shore, Fraser Valley, and Vancouver Island were selected eight months ago to field a dual team from their zone.

The Commanding Officer and Officers of The British Columbia Regiment (Duke of Connaught's Own), in partnership with ONNI Group and the BC Secondary School Wrestling Association invite you to the Inaugural Duke's Cup Wrestling Dual Meet that will take place on Saturday, January 12th, 2019 at The Drill Hall on 620 Beatty Street, Vancouver.
Doors Open at 9:00 am and competition will go from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
No Cost for Entry or RSVP required. Pay-Parking is available at the Costco on 605 Expo Blvd.

The Grassroots Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the BCWA in grassroots program development, execution, monitoring, and analysis in all programs. This includes programming for youth of all ages and abilities, throughout the province. As a member of the BCWA team, the Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a consistent and best in class approach to all wrestling programs in British Columbia.

Vancouver's own Serena Woldering won her weight class as Simon Fraser University hosted 34 wrestling clubs at the annual SFU International Open.
Serena Woldering, a freshman at SFU, had one of the most impressive performances of the competition. She went 4-0 to caputre the 86kg title. Woldering did not yield a single point and dominated wins over multiple All-American Champions.
