BC Wrestling Association is seeking a Women’s Junior Development Coach to lead the BC Wrestling Women’s Provincial Program and join the BC Wrestling High Performance team. Women’s Junior Development Coach – will be directly responsible for the development, execution, and evaluation of elite age class female wrestling programs and services offered by BC Wrestling. The role will be both administrative and technical and will include the development of female athletes from the novice to elite levels. Following the success of the online NCCP workshop held in late July, Wrestling Canada is offering additional online coaching certification for NCCP Part A and Part B. BCWA To all BCWA members, Wrestling Canada has announced a new funding opportunity regarding a Commonwealth Women Coach Internship Program. See the details below: "Commonwealth Sport Canada (CSC) has been successful in securing Sport Canada funding for a Commonwealth Women Coach Internship Program (WCIP). The proposed WCIP is modelled on the successful Commonwealth Games Federation’s Gold Coast WCIP. On the back of this we have an opportunity to provide mentorship and support to a female coach under the guidance of one of Canada’s top female coaches, Martine Dugrenier. We are now looking to select the next intern coach to be mentored for this program. Any interested parties must apply by October 14, 2020 at 5:00 PM EST.
