The games will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia (Kjipuktuk and Millbrook First Nation) from July 12-19, 2020. The Team BC NAIG program provides 520 Indigenous athletes with the opportunity to celebrate their culture and experience a major sport competition. The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council delivers an annual series of BC Indigenous Provincial Championships and Sport Development Camps in various communities across the province.
The 2019/20 season of Championships and Camps will serve as a primary component of the talent identification and selection processes by which athletes and coaches will be selected to represent BC at the Halifax 2020 NAIG.
Keeping kids physically active and helping them to build confidence and self esteem. Youth wrestling is about FUN! Wrestling is introduced to elementary school age kids for fun and participation. Many competitions in the province include a kids wrestling division, as well as a number of independent kids wrestling tournaments and clinics.
